Dog Training and Behavior Modification

We strive to build better relationships between Owner and Dog. Our goal is to elevate you & your dog’s quality of life as well as give you the knowledge and tools to truly have a wonderful life with your pet. Especially for Owners whose dogs express difficult behaviors. Here at CMH Training, we believe all dogs deserve a chance!

Dog Training Services

We offer training such as Private In Home sessions for Puppy Kindergarten, Basic and Advanced obedience, a Single Sessions, Cool Trick Workshop or Behavioral Consultations on behaviors such as Aggression/Reactivity and Separation Anxiety, Excessive Barking, Fear, etc. These are 1 hour sessions that happen once a week for 4-8 weeks depending on the service.

  • For those whose schedules are too busy but are willing to make a commitment to training on their own, we offer 1 Training Session to go over what your training goals are and how to achieve them. We’ll give pointers and advice on your form & methods. This is designed to help clients who just need a little guidance but don’t feel as if they need a Training Package that requires sessions to be once a week for 4-8 weeks.

    Prices start at $150

    Not for any dog needing Behavior Modification on difficult behaviors.

  • Puppy Kindergarten: We work on social and confidence skills for the inside & outside world during this 4 week program. Puppies will also learn some commands like Name, Sit, Down and the marker Yes. This is best for ages 2-4 months.

    $105 per session

    Basic Obedience: Commands like Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Place, etc will be taught depending on length of this program. We offer a 4 week or 8 week package! This is for ages 4 months and older.

    4 weeks: $125 per session

    8 weeks: $115 per session

    Advanced Obedience: After completing Basic, we introduce harder commands in this 8 week program like Leave It, Drop It, Quiet, Recall, etc and focus on the 3 D’s (Duration, Distance, Distraction).

    4 weeks: $212.50 per session

    8 weeks: $150 per session

  • An evaluation will be performed to ensure this program is the right fit for you and your dog. This Modification Package is an 8 week training program that will focus on what is causing the behavior and introducing different, healthier behaviors instead.

    Difficult Behavior prices are $235 per session

    Aggression/Reactivity Behaviors prices are $265 per session

    We highly recommend you consult with your vet to rule out medical issues before booking with us.

    We provide the knowledge and tools but your animal’s long term success depends on how you use them.

  • Does your dog pull? Just want to enjoy walking next to your best fur friend? Well CMH Training offers Loose Leash Training! This package is two 1 hour sessions a week for 3 weeks. That’s 6 sessions to go over walking with a loose leash, when to reward good behavior and how to correct pulling.

    For the first 10-20 minutes, we’ll focus on leashing up and walking out the door calmly. Then we’ll work on keeping a loose leash and rewarding good behavior. If your dog pulls, we’ll show you hands on how to correct and redirect to a healthier calmer behavior. Then it’s your turn with us guiding you and giving you tips.

    Prices are $76.67 per session

    This package isn’t for dogs that show difficult and/or reactivity/aggressive behaviors. Our Behavior Consultation package would suit those dogs better as to not cause stress or worsen those behaviors due to the style of this training program.

  • Ever wanted your dog to show off a cool trick to your friends or family? This work shop includes three training sessions that go over the trick you’re wanting to teach!

    Maybe you want your dog to Play Dead, Roll Over, Wave, Bow, Weave, etc! Prices are $76.67 per session

    This Workshop does best if you’ve already been working with your dog on basic commands.

  • Schedule issues? Out of our In-Person service area?

    We offer virtual training sessions through Zoom! We’re more than happy to help you with basic, advanced, puppy kindergarten, cool tricks, or single training sessions online. Online Consultations are required to help you get set up on the system we use and to go over everything such as which service would be a good fit, details to work on a training plan, contracts, etc.

    Online Consultations: $40

    Single Session: $125

    Cool Trick: $200

    Basic Training: $480-$520

    Advanced Training: $615- $655

    Difficult Behaviors Advice: $200

    Aggressive Behaviors Advice: $240

    We do offer Behavioral Advice & Tips for harder cases however we will not be offering online training packages as these behaviors are best to work with In-Person Training. Advice and Tips offer suggested plans for management, training methods, tools, book recommendations, etc.

    Since sessions are through Zoom, there may be sessions or homework that ask you to work with your pet in a different location (ex: puppy socialization at a park or training in a different room in your home); we provide the plans, tools and knowledge to help you work with your animal.
